Is it safe to take legal advice in this way?

Not all legal matters are suitable for the Law Shop self-help service. We will tell you if we don't think you should use the service in a particular case.

Anything you do on your own, without checking it with the qualified lawyer, will be your own responsibility.

But you can ask us to check and sign for any drafting help or advice you want. And then, provided you have given us all the relevant information, you will have the same professional safeguards for that piece of work as if we had done it on your behalf as your solicitors.
