Peter Browne, Solicitors and Law Shop, are looking for an experienced assistant solicitor (full-time or part-time) with competence in at least two of the following heads of casework:

• family law
• employment law
• civil litigation
• landlord & tenant
• conveyancing  /  probate (counts as one head, even if both offered).

This is a well-established, growing, innovative, happy, high street firm, with Lexcel accreditation, whose sole principal wants to ease into retirement in a few years' time.

This could be the ideal opportunity for a solicitor

• looking to return to work part-time or full-time after a career break; or
• bored with current repetitive specialist work; or
• frustrated with being a small cog in a large machine; or
• wanting to do private client work for ordinary local folk who can't get legal aid but can't afford, either, the charging rates of commercial firms; or
• interested in the future possibility running his / her own firm.
